On October 17, 2019, Britam launched the Milele Health Plan, a new life cover policy that allows customers to enroll up to the age of 70.

The policy, which was launched at Britam Tower in Nairobi, covers a range of benefits including overseas treatment, personal accident, and critical illness.

According to Britam General Insurance acting CEO Jackson Theuri, the minimum joining age for the policy is after birth, provided the baby is clinically discharged. The maximum entry age is 70 years, with no maximum exit age.

The minimum coverage for the policy is Sh500,000, while the maximum coverage is Sh10 million, depending on the age, health history, and gender of the customer.

Britam's new policy aims to provide comprehensive health coverage to individuals in Kenya, particularly the elderly.
