Tony Gachoka Arrested for Public Nuisance After Being Found Intoxicated at Diani Airstrip ¶
On October 17, 2019, Tony Gachoka, a KTN presenter and host of Pointblank, was arrested at Diani Airstrip in Kwale for public nuisance after being found intoxicated while trying to board a Nairobi-bound flight.
According to Msambweni OCPD Nehemiah Bitok, Gachoka had contravened the airline's regulations by carrying alcohol on the flight.
Principal Magistrate Joe Omido heard that Gachoka had caused a drama at the Airstrip and even refused to be screened at the checking point.
Gachoka was released on a cash bail of KSh 50,000 after denying the charges.
