On a day-to-day basis, life has been tough for Lillian Mbabazi since the passing of her partner, Ugandan musician Moses Ssekibogo, aka Mowzey Radio, in 2018.
Speaking to Sqoop in an interview published on September 30, 2019, Lillian revealed that she has been relying on her faith and the support of loved ones to cope with the loss.
"It has been tough; it has been one day at a time but God has been good and faithful. He surrounded me with good people in my life such as my family, friends and a few artistes (who have supported me)," she explained.
Mowzey Radio, known for hits like Bread and Butter and Potential, left behind two children with Lillian and another with a Caucasian woman.
He died after succumbing to injuries sustained during a brawl at an entertainment joint in Kampala, which led to the arrest and ongoing trial of the night club's bouncer, Troy Wamala, on charges of murder.
Before his passing, Lillian was part of the famous Blu 3 musical group and co-hosted a radio show on Uganda's Capital FM. Today, her focus is on developing her music career and raising her children.
