Meet Mariam Nabatanzi, a Ugandan woman who has been recognized as the most fertile woman in the world. By the age of 36, she had given birth to an astonishing 44 children.

According to medical experts, Mariam suffers from a rare genetic condition known as hyper-ovulation, which causes her to release multiple eggs in one cycle, significantly increasing the chances of having multiples.

Despite the challenges, Mariam has managed to care for and feed all her children on her own. She has three sets of quadruplets, four sets of triplets, and six sets of twins.

Mariam's journey began when she was just 12 years old and married to a man 28 years her senior. A year later, she gave birth to her first set of twins.

However, her husband left her almost four years ago, leaving Mariam to raise their massive family alone.

Interestingly, Mariam's father had 45 children with several different women, and Mariam herself had 25 children by the age of 23.

Despite her pleas for help, medical experts advised her to keep getting pregnant, citing her high ovary count.

Tragically, Mariam's final pregnancy ended in tragedy when she gave birth to her sixth set of twins three years ago.

Each day, Mariam uses 25kgs of maize floor to ensure her children have enough to eat.
