On October 17, 2019, Tecno officially announced the Camon 12 series globally, and it has taken over a month for the devices to reach the Kenyan market.

The Tecno Camon 12 series includes the Camon 12, Camon 12 Pro, and Camon 12 Air, each offering a unique set of features that cater to different consumer needs.

The Camon 12 Pro, Camon 12, and Camon 12 Air are priced at Kshs 19,499, Kshs 15,499, and Kshs 13,499, respectively, and are available at all Tecno brand shops across the country.

As expected, the camera is a key feature of the Camon 12 series, with the Camon 12 Pro boasting a 32-megapixel selfie camera with AI infusions, while the standard Camon 12 and Camon 12 Air feature 16 and 8-megapixel shooters, respectively.

The Camon 12 Air also features a punch-hole design for its selfie camera, which is a notable difference from the teardrop-style notches on the Camon 12 and Camon 12 Pro.

Other notable differences between the devices include their battery capacity and available memory, with the Camon 12 Pro featuring a 3,500mAh battery, while the standard Camon 12 and Camon 12 Air have 4,000mAh units.

However, the Camon 12 Pro makes up for its smaller battery with its 6GB memory and 128GB onboard storage, which is twice the amount of internal storage found in the Camon 12 Air.
