On October 17, 2019, a Kenyan court made a significant ruling in the ongoing property dispute involving the late Fidel Odinga's estate.
Justice Muchelule, the presiding judge, ruled that the media have every right to report on the case, as long as they do not mention the children involved.
The dispute centers around the distribution of Fidel Odinga's properties, including a home in Karen's Tipuana Park, two pieces of land in Kisumu, and one in Kajiado, as well as shares in Axum Investments Limited and Ambesa Investments Limited, and four vehicles.
The case will be mentioned on November 13.
According to court documents, Fidel Odinga died without a written will, leaving behind a complex web of property ownership and inheritance claims.
