On Monday evening, a boda boda operator in Ololoipang'i village, Narok South sub-county, was found in a compromising situation with a standard 8 pupil from Ololoipang'i primary school.

Locals who saw the man dropping the girl at his house with his motorbike raised the alarm, and the villagers stormed the house, leading to the tragic incident.

According to Joseph Kones, the area Nyumba Kumi Chairman, the villagers were concerned when they saw the two entering the house together and locking themselves in.

‘Some villagers saw the man dropping the girl at his house with his motorbike and got concerned when the two entered the house together and locked themselves in,’ Kones said.

The enraged residents reportedly stormed the house and found the man dangling from the roof of his house with the girl crying beside him.

The incident was reported to the police, who visited the scene, recovered the body, and arrested the minor for further interrogation at nearby Ololung'a police station.

The body of the deceased was moved to Narok County Referral Hospital mortuary awaiting post mortem examination.
