On a Monday night in an Iowa City bar, a 20-year-old man was arrested for possessing a fake ID. The man, who was under 21, had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and a drink in his hand when he was approached by police.

According to authorities, the man smelled strongly of ingested alcohol and admitted to having vodka in his drink. However, he refused to show his ID, claiming he didn't have one. It wasn't until the officers made him leaf through his wallet that they found the fake ID, a 'McLovin' card with a birthdate of June 3, 1981.

The McLovin ID gained fame after appearing in the 2007 movie 'Superbad,' where a character obtains a fake Hawaii driver's license with the name McLovin.

As reported by sources, the 20-year-old Iowan admitted to purchasing the ID on Amazon. The man's attempt to use the most iconic fake ID in history ultimately failed.

It's worth noting that 'Superbad' turned 12 in August 2019, and while the movie's humor may not be as relatable today, the McLovin ID remains a cultural reference point.
