On October 16, 2019, TV host Tony Gachoka was arrested at Diani Airstrip in Kwale County for causing disturbance after he was barred from boarding a plane with alcoholic drinks.
According to Nehemiah Bitok, the Msambweni OCPD, Mr. Gachoka was set to board a Silverstone Air flight to Nairobi when he became rowdy and demanded to board the flight while carrying alcoholic drinks in hand and some in his bag, contrary to the airline's rules and regulations.
Mr. Bitok added that the Pointblank show host also reportedly hurled insults at a few travelers on scene who attempted to calm him down.
Mr. Gachoka is set to be arraigned in court on Thursday to answer to charges of causing disturbance.
