Director Taika Waititi has confirmed that Korg, the lovable Kronan gladiator, will be returning in the upcoming Marvel film Thor: Love & Thunder. The news comes as fans eagerly await the release of the movie, which is set to hit theaters on November 5, 2021.
First introduced in Thor: Ragnarok, Korg quickly became a fan favorite due to his witty humor and endearing personality. Voiced by Waititi himself, Korg's character added a much-needed comedic relief to the film, making it a standout in the Thor franchise.
While fans were initially worried that Korg might have fallen victim to Thanos after his absence in Avengers: Infinity War, he made a surprise return in Avengers: Endgame as Thor's roommate. His presence in the film was a welcome addition, providing a much-needed friend to the troubled God of Thunder.
With Thor off exploring the galaxy, it's likely that Korg and his trusty companion Miek will be serving as advisors to Valkyrie, the new King of New Asgard. Fans can look forward to seeing Korg and the rest of the beloved characters in Thor: Love & Thunder.
