Ben Cyco's family received overwhelming support in 2019 when they sought financial help to raise Sh11.5 million for his sister Joy's cancer treatment.
At the time, Joy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (blood cancer) and required chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
Ben Cyco shaved his head in support of his sister, using the hashtag #doitforjoy, and shared the experience on social media.
Today, Joy is a living testimony, having been declared cancer-free.
Ben Cyco took to social media to thank those who stood with his family, saying, 'You guys called, prayed, and even gave your money towards her treatment and I would like to say thank you for that, may God remember your good works in your time of need.'
He also emphasized the importance of cancer screening, especially during cancer month.
