On Tuesday night, Airtel Kenya subscribers were hit by a network outage that disrupted calls and SMS services. The disruption continued into Wednesday morning, prompting subscribers to take to social media to express their disappointment.
Airtel Kenya later confirmed the disruption in a statement, assuring subscribers that the company was working to restore voice and message services. According to the statement, the company was experiencing technical challenges with its network, resulting in intermittent data and call services. However, data services were available.
