On October 15, a deadly clash broke out in the Ganda ward during a by-election campaign, resulting in the loss of one life.
Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa was arrested in connection with the violence, but no one has been arrested in relation to the Kibra clashes.
According to the MPs, police have been biased in their enforcement of duty, arresting politicians who are close to Deputy President William Ruto while leaving those from the ODM party who instigated the violence in Kibra free.
The MPs, led by Kimani Ichung'wa, accused police of being biased and failing to arrest politicians who incited violence in Kibra.
They also claimed that the car of their Kibra candidate, McDonald Mariga, was badly damaged during the clashes, but no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The MPs are now demanding the arrest of Junet Mohammed, Babu Owino, and former MP Irshad Sumra for allegedly inciting the violence in Kibra.
