On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa stormed the home of Ganda ward by-election candidate Reuben Katana, sparking chaos and commotion.

According to Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut, the latest controversy and fatal shooting may prove too costly for Jumwa.

Chepkut, a key ally of Deputy President William Ruto, noted that arresting politicians has always been a glory point, but for Jumwa, this arrest may mark the end of her otherwise shining career.

"Arresting politicians has always been a glory point if their career. But for Aisha Jumwa, this arrest following the death of an innocent boy might mark the end of her otherwise shining career," Chepkut claimed.

Residents of Ganda ward will go to the ballot on Thursday, October 17, to elect their MCA.
