Published on October 16, 2019, Western Stima have warned that they are ready to put an end to AFC Leopards' winning streak in the Kenyan Premier League when the two sides meet at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Saturday.

Stima team manager Samuel Juma has issued a war-cry ahead of the clash, stating that they'll use all their artillery to hurt the Leopards.

"We are much ready just like any team going into a match and we want to thank God that we are all in good shape for the tie after a break," Juma said.

Stima are sitting in fifth position on nine points, one adrift of second-placed Leopards after five matches, having won twice and drawn thrice.

However, even as they bid to tame the big cats, they are also reeling from the financial heat that is taking a toll on KPL clubs, with the likes of 12-time champions AFC Leopards, 18-time winners Gor Mahia, Sony Sugar, Nzoia Sugar, and Chemelil Sugar badly hit.
