On October 16, 2019, East African Breweries Limited (EABL) issued a warning to Kenyans about fake job adverts making rounds on social media.
The company clarified that the advertisements claiming EABL and Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) were recruiting new staff were false and did not originate from EABL.
According to EABL, it follows a comprehensive recruitment process through its Human Resource Department, and all job opportunities are posted on its official website.
The company emphasized that it does not charge any application fee at any stage of its recruitment process.
EABL urged the public to report fake adverts to the relevant authorities and warned perpetrators of these illegal activities.
