On October 16, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta offered words of wisdom to Kenyan men during the commissioning of the Nairobi expressway near Cabanas on Mombasa Road.
According to the President, men should respect women and avoid disrespecting them. He advised men to seduce women slowly and with respect, and if they succeed, it's well and good, but if not, they should move on and look for another partner.
Uhuru emphasized that seducing with respect brings people together without fights, and that this is the only way to eradicate tribalism without disrespecting others.
His sentiments come at a time when homicides, murders, domestic violence, and other vices have increased in the country, often linked to love gone sour.
As the President said, 'Men respect women, don't go disrespecting them. Go and seduce them slowly, if you succeed, well and good, if not look for another one.'
