Published on October 16, 2019, the draw for this year's Safari Sevens tournament has been announced, with defending champions Samurai set to face stiff competition in Pool B.
Samurai will be joined in Pool B by South Africa's Western Province, Russian Narvskaya Zastava, and invitational side Red Wailers.
Meanwhile, Pool A features South Africa's HSBC core side, alongside neighbours Uganda, Kenya Morans, and Burundi.
Pool C has Shujaa, South Africa's Blue Bulls, Russia's academy team, and Zambia, while Kenya Cup champions KCB RFC are in Pool D, facing off against HSBC core side Spain, Zimbabwe, and Seventise RFC.
The competition, which begins on Friday and ends on Sunday, is expected to be fiercely contested as the other teams bid to snatch the crown from Samurai.
