On Saturday, a devastating attack in Dadaab claimed the lives of 11 officers, leaving families in Kirinyaga County to mourn their loved ones.
Among the victims were Kennedy Murimi Njogu, 24, from Gatuiri village in Mwea constituency, and Kennedy Kinyua Mureithi, 22, from Kangai village in the same constituency.
Both men had joined the service three years ago and were the family's hope for a better future, according to their relatives.
