On October 15, 2019, Hawa Mayoka, the ex-girlfriend of Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz, made headlines with a rather unusual tattoo of her ex-lover's face on her breast.
According to Hawa, the tattoo serves as a reminder of the time she was sick and Diamond's generosity towards her. He had offered to pay for her medication and fully fund her medical trip to India, a gesture she didn't expect.
During an interview, Hawa revealed that Diamond's support went beyond just financial assistance. He also offered to help her get back on her feet by supporting her music career.
Although Diamond and Hawa dated years ago and broke up after a mutual agreement, her affection for him remains strong. The two even released a song together, 'Nitarejea', after their breakup.
