As the search for real love continues, women in Nairobi share their thoughts on what they want in a man. For many, it's a combination of respect, loyalty, and financial stability.

Helena, a woman who values loyalty, explains that she wants a partner who will be her one and only. 'I need physical, emotional, and financial safety,' she says. 'A man should be the provider, and I want to know that the relationship is heading somewhere.'

Another woman, Lilian, lists a range of qualities she looks for in a partner, including good looks, cleanliness, confidence, and a sense of humor. 'A gentleman who's fun-loving, non-violent, and funny ranks high on my wish list,' she says.

For Jane, a media and communication graduate, kindness, intelligence, and honesty are essential. 'I like someone who has a sense of fashion but not those who go on the extreme,' she says.

Katarina, now in her early 30s, wants a responsible partner she can settle down with. 'I prefer a man who's older than me and one who has enjoyed life and is ready to settle,' she says.

While women's expectations may vary, one thing is clear: they want a partner who will provide emotional and financial stability, and who will be loyal and faithful.
