Manchester United's Marcus Rashford has emerged as a top target for Barcelona as the Spanish giants seek to replace Luis Suarez, who is expected to leave the club next summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Suarez's current contract at Barcelona expires in 2021, and the Uruguayan forward is likely to depart the Catalan club in the summer of 2020.
Barcelona are keen to find a suitable replacement for Suarez, who has been a key player for the club since joining from Liverpool in 2014. The 32-year-old has scored 183 goals in 255 appearances for Barcelona, winning four La Liga titles, four Copa del Rey trophies, and a Champions League title.
As Suarez's departure draws near, Barcelona are reportedly considering a number of options to replace him. In addition to Rashford, the club are also eyeing Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe, Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane, and Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez.
While Mbappe is reportedly the top target, his valuation of over €200m may be a significant obstacle for Barcelona. Rashford, on the other hand, could be a more affordable option, with the Manchester United striker currently earning £200,000-a-week on a four-year contract.
