Two KCSE Candidates Go Missing in Gilgil

On October 11, 2019, two students scheduled to sit the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) at Utumishi Boys High School in Gilgil went missing.

The Gilgil Police commander, Emmanuel Opuru, confirmed that the school's management reported the two students missing last Friday.

According to reports, the two students were last seen on Thursday, and their disappearance has left their families worried.

The father of one of the missing boys described the situation as "worrying," stating, "It’s worrying as KCSE is starting in a couple of weeks."

Utumishi Boys High School principal, Samuel Maina, assured that the school is working closely with the police to find the missing students.
