Google's Blogger platform, once a popular blogging platform, has seen a decline in users over the years. However, it still has a dedicated user base, and the latest update to the Blogger Android app is a testament to that.
Published on October 15, 2019, the update brings version 3.0.1 of the app, which includes a new icon and a visual overhaul to the Material Design. This design change was already making its way to the whole of Android by the time the app received its last update.
While the update doesn't bring any new features, it's a welcome change for users who may have been holding out for a refresh. The move from the dated Ice Cream Sandwich-era Holo design to the Lollipop-era Material Design is a significant change, and it's a step in the right direction for the app.
So, do you still use Blogger or visit blogs hosted on the platform? Let us know in the comments.
