On October 15, 2019, a tragic fire broke out at a home in Kariobangi South estate in Nairobi, resulting in the deaths of a one-year-old baby and two other family members.
Nairobi County Commander Philip Ndolo confirmed that two others were rushed to the Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire occurred after a blackout on Monday night, and the family was using candles for light.
Further investigation is needed to determine the cause of the fire.
