On October 15, 2019, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) marked a significant milestone in its expansion strategy by opening a new branch in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
The new branch, located at Mega Plaza Shopping Mall along Eastleigh First Avenue Street, is the bank's third in Nairobi and its fourth countrywide.
According to DIB Bank Kenya chief executive Peter Makau, the new branch is part of the bank's commitment to delivering excellent services to its customers in a convenient manner.
'We are committed to taking our banking services closer to our customers,' Makau said in a statement. 'The official launch of our Eastleigh branch today is a testament to this commitment.'
The new branch will operate between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday and between 9:00am-1:00pm on Saturdays.
With the expansion, DIB aims to increase its choice of Shariah banking services to the Eastleigh community and meet growing customer needs through a combination of branches expansion, strategic partnerships, and diversification of product range leveraging on technology.
