Kenyan music lovers, Vivian and Sam West, have announced a postponement of their highly anticipated white wedding. The couple had initially planned to exchange their vows later this year but have now decided to delay the ceremony following the passing of Sam West's father.

According to Sam West, the decision to postpone the wedding was made to allow the family to grieve and calm down before involving others in the wedding preparations. 'We didn't want to do the funeral then do the wedding. We needed to let the family calm down first and then we start involving people for the wedding,' he explained.

Despite the postponement, Sam West has dismissed rumors that the couple is not together anymore. 'There is no misunderstanding, we are just trying to do it the right way,' he said.

Sam West and Vivian, who held a traditional wedding last year, are now planning to hold their white wedding in early next year. 'We are doing the white wedding. Fans should be assured that we are doing it. It needs to be done well and we would like it to be in the spirit of excellence,' Sam West told Word Is.

On a separate note, the couple is set to launch a project called 'Dominate' next month. The project aims to create an open space for people to talk and be vulnerable to each other, especially when it comes to relationships and marriages.

Sam West and Vivian recently returned from a two-month trip to the US, where they gained a new perspective on life and relationships. 'We noticed the challenges people in the US are facing and we are now able to see Kenya from a global perspective,' Sam West said.
