October 15, 2019, marked a significant milestone for Tanasha Donna, a Kenyan radio presenter, as she welcomed her child with Bongo superstar Diamond Platnumz. Barely a week later, she is back on the music grind, working towards the release of her debut project, 'Donnatella'.
Donna has returned to the studio, where she shared a video of herself working on the EP. She captioned the post: “Mummy duties but we still grinding.”
After releasing two critically acclaimed hits, 'Radio' and 'Nah Easy', Tanasha Donna is set to feature regional and local acts in her upcoming EP. Locally, she has enlisted the services of Ethic, the sensational street-anthem hitmakers behind the hit song 'Lamba Lolo'. The supposed collab promises to be interesting and is one of the highly anticipated features in 'Donnatella'.
Reportedly, Ms Donna has also tapped Bongo crooner Mbosso for a Swahili-French ballad produced in Tanzania.
As she relishes her newly-attained mommy role, Tanasha Donna has expressed her joy in motherhood. In a recent interaction with followers, a fan asked her, “How's motherhood so far?” She responded, “Couldn’t have asked for anything better.”
