On Monday's edition of Strahan, Sara & Keke, Mike Johnson, a star of The Bachelorette, asked actress Keke Palmer on a date, leaving her visibly uncomfortable.
Johnson had previously been romantically linked to Demi Lovato, but it's unclear whether they're still dating. When asked about his relationship with Lovato, Johnson quickly changed the subject to talk about himself and Palmer.
"I made a mistake. I don't like dating in public," Johnson said. "But if I were to ask you if we could go on a date in the public..."
Before Johnson could finish, he was drowned out by cheering, and Palmer covered her face with her interview card, saying, "What's the next question? What's the next question?" to her co-hosts, Michael Strahan and Sara Haines.
Strahan chimed in, "Mike, let me tell you something. Demi's my girl, I love this one here too now. You mess up and I'm coming for you. You don't want that." Haines added, "We approve." Strahan later said, "You all look real good together sitting there. I ain't gonna lie to you."
It's unclear whether Palmer will consider Johnson's request, but she joked, "I'm at work," before the segment ended.
