Kenya's Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced a reduction in fuel prices, effective from October 15 to November 14, 2019.
The reduction is aimed at providing relief to Kenyans during a time of high cost of living.
According to EPRA, the price of super petrol will drop by Ksh 4.12 to Ksh 108.05 in Nairobi, while diesel will retail at Ksh 101.96, shedding KShs 1.08.
However, kerosene users will have to pay more, with the price increasing by KShs 0.44 to Ksh 101.08 per litre in Nairobi.
EPRA made the announcement in a statement, citing the reduction in crude oil prices on the international market as the reason for the price drop.
