Co-Parenting in the Spotlight

Diana Marua, wife of gospel singer Bahati, has spoken out about her approach to co-parenting with Bahati's baby mama, Yvette Obura. In a recent interview, Diana revealed that she allows Bahati to communicate with Yvette often, prioritizing the needs of their daughter, Mueni Bahati.

According to Diana, she was not familiar with the dynamics of baby mama-baby daddy relationships when she first started dating Bahati. However, she has since learned to approach the situation with an open mind.

'I was not really acquainted with how baby mama-baby daddy relationships work,' Diana said. 'I was ignorant at the time, all I wanted was a love relationship with Bahati.'

Despite the challenges that come with co-parenting, Diana has made it clear that she prioritizes the needs of Mueni. 'Mueni has needs that need to be met with both parents involved,' Diana explained. 'She considers me as her mum, and wherever she is home, I treat her like my own.'

For clarification, Diana has stated that she and Yvette are not rivals, but rather, they are in communication and working together for the sake of their daughter.
