On October 14, 2019, NCBA Group initiated the business amalgamation process of its two investment entities, NIC Capital Limited and CBA Capital, and their securities brokerage subsidiary, NIC Securities Limited.

The amalgamation process aims to merge the investment banking business and securities brokerage business of the three entities, with NIC Capital Limited set to conduct both businesses upon completion.

Customers affected by the change will be notified, and the amalgamated entity will continue to provide its full range of investment banking and securities brokerage products and services.

The Group believes the amalgamated entity will be strategically positioned to become a significant player in the Kenya Capital Markets, benefiting from the synergies of the three entities.
