On October 12, 2019, Eliud Kipchoge made history by unofficially breaking the world marathon record with a time of 1:59:40. The achievement was witnessed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a British tycoon and sponsor of Kipchoge's Ineos 1:59 Challenge.
What followed was a heartwarming moment as Kipchoge ran to and embraced his wife before enthusiastically hugging his children. This display of affection showcased the father of three as a quintessential family man.
When asked about his wife, Kipchoge shared a succinct statement, epitomized by the embrace they shared at the finish line: 'THE GREATEST FEELING.'
