Atwoli also claimed that his first wife had grown old and was no longer able to manage the household, leaving him to take on the responsibility of caring for their children.
"My first wife has grown old, and I need someone who can take care of the children, someone who can be a mother to them," Atwoli said.

"I know that some people will say that I am old and that I should not be marrying a younger woman, but I say that age is just a number," Atwoli said.
