On October 13, 2019, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) held a rally at Kibra DC grounds to campaign for their candidate Bernard Okoth Imran.

ODM's director of elections Junet Mohammed led the campaign, drumming up support for Bernard Okoth, who he termed as the most suitable candidate to continue with the legacy left by the late Ken Okoth.

The Kibra by-election is set to take place on November 7th, with 5 polling centers in the constituency not being used due to the ongoing national examinations.

Speakers at the rally portrayed the by-election as a litmus test for 2022 politics, calling on the electorate to support the ODM candidate.
