Published on October 13, 2019, a Tanzanian man is on the run after allegedly hacking his 33-year-old lover, Magrate Akinyi, to death at their rental house in Muhuru Bay, Migori County.
According to Kithi sub-Location assistant chief Dickens Nyanguso, the suspect had been living with the deceased, who had recently separated from her husband.
‘They were living together with the man who is suspected to have committed the crime,’ Nyanguso said.
Police have launched investigations into the motive of the attack and are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect.
The body of Magrate Akinyi was found in a pool of blood by neighbours who had seen blood flowing from inside the house.
