On October 12, 2019, the Ministry of Interior announced a change in reporting dates for constables who were successfully recruited on October 9, 2019. The announcement was made via the ministry's Twitter handle.
The new reporting dates differ by region. Successful candidates from Rift Valley and Eastern regions are required to report on October 28, while those from North Eastern and Coast regions are to report on October 29. Candidates from Nyanza and Western regions are to present themselves on October 30. Central, Nairobi, National Youth Service sportsmen and women candidates will report on October 31, 2019.
The shortlisted applicants are required to report to Prisons Staff Training College in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
