On October 12, 2019, Eliud Kipchoge made history by becoming the first human to run a marathon under two hours, a feat that sent shockwaves of joy across Kenya and beyond.

As the news of Kipchoge's achievement spread, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, who was in France at the time, decided to celebrate in style. He visited the luxurious Cavalli club in Montpellier, where he was welcomed with open arms by the club's patrons.

According to a video shared on Facebook by Sonko, the governor was seen dancing and jumping alongside other revelers, including women who were dressed in their finest attire. The club's DJ even shouted Sonko's name, welcoming him to the club.

At one point, Sonko was seen standing on the floor, making slight movements that suggested he was dancing. He was surrounded by other black people who may have accompanied him on the trip.

It's worth noting that Sonko had been in France for several weeks, claiming that he was on a benchmarking tour. However, it seems that he had other plans in mind, as he decided to celebrate Kipchoge's achievement in style.

As the governor celebrated, Kenyans back home were also rejoicing in the streets, with many flocking to entertainment joints to hail Kipchoge as a hero.
