On October 13, 2019, Eliud Kipchoge made history by becoming the first human to run a marathon in under two hours, crossing the finish line in 1:59:40.
The incredible feat sparked a wave of humor and challenges from Kenyans, with socialite Huddah Monroe jokingly offering herself as a 'specimen' to test Kipchoge's bedroom performance.
Monroe's comment, 'no human is limited,' was seen as a tongue-in-cheek challenge to Kipchoge, who has a wife and children.
While many men joked that they would be happy to stand with Kipchoge, the real challenge would be for them to 'smash their ladies for 1 minute 59 seconds,' as one meme put it.
As news of Kipchoge's achievement spread, musician Kanji Mbugua released an emotional song celebrating the athlete's incredible feat.
