Jacque Maribe Returns to Social Media After One-Year Hiatus ¶
Former Citizen TV news reporter Jacque Maribe has finally returned to social media after a one-year hiatus, and she marked her comeback by celebrating Eliud Kipchoge's record-breaking achievement.
On September 29, 2018, Jacque was taken into police custody as a murder suspect over the killing of Nairobi business lady Monica Kimani. She was later released from custody but barred from reporting news.
After staying away from her social media family for a year, Jacque has decided to grace her fans with sweet, reassuring words as the country celebrates a legend.
"Eliud Kipchoge, thank you for sharing this moment with us. For allowing us to witness history. For showing us that we can teach our children that no human is limited. We are proud. I am proud. Kenya is proud. Thank you. You are worth making a comeback for," the beauty wrote.
While most people focused on the message, others could not help but realise that finally the journalist had emerged from her cocoon.
