Pravin Eazhawa, the founding country director of ADEC Kenya, has resigned after six years at the helm. Eazhawa, who has been instrumental in building the company into a leading entity in the business process management and data analytics field, made the announcement in October 2019.
During his tenure, ADEC Kenya diversified its business from classical Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) to a data analytics company, and also introduced impact sourcing, which provided opportunities for Form Four leavers to join the workforce. Eazhawa also highlighted the company's commitment to empowering women, with 90% of the firm's leadership team being women.
Under Eazhawa's leadership, ADEC Kenya was runner-up at the inaugural SME Awards and KEYA Awards 2019. Eazhawa expressed gratitude to the co-founders of ADEC, Jim Donovan and Carol Esguerra, and the entire ADEC Kenya team for their support in scaling the company's heights.
After leaving ADEC Kenya, Eazhawa plans to take time off to spend with his family and also continue his role as the national director, skills and vocation development for youth at the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
