According to town selectman Kevin Cote, the police in Pelham responded to the shooting on Saturday morning.
Images on social media showed police and firefighters responding to the scene on Bridge Street in Pelham.
The Pelham Police Department stated that there was 'a situation,' but that it was under control and that there was no danger to the public.
As of the time of reporting, the police had put up police tape around the church.
