Impeachment Debate Heats Up

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. has explicitly endorsed impeachment, a move that goes beyond his previous stance of calling for an impeachment inquiry if President Trump did not cooperate with Congress.

Speaking in New Hampshire, Mr. Biden stated, 'To preserve our Constitution, our democracy, our basic integrity, he should be impeached.' He also accused President Trump of having 'betrayed this nation.'

Sanders' Health Raises Concerns

Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont is recovering from a heart attack, which has raised concerns about his health. His campaign's delay in disclosing the heart attack has also led to criticism about its transparency, which Mr. Sanders has forcefully rejected.

Mr. Sanders has also announced that he will be changing the 'nature' of his campaign by doing fewer events, but later clarified that he had misspoken.

Warren Faces Backlash Over Pregnancy Discrimination Claim

Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has faced backlash over her claim that she was discriminated against when she became 'visibly pregnant' at the end of her first year as a public-school teacher.

Conservative news outlets have challenged her account, citing a 2007 interview with Ms. Warren and minutes from a school board meeting. Ms. Warren has pushed back by calling on women to share their own stories of pregnancy discrimination.

Candidates Discuss L.G.B.T.Q. Rights

CNN and the Human Rights Campaign hosted a forum on L.G.B.T.Q. rights, where candidates discussed their plans to protect the community.

Multiple Candidates Release Policy Proposals

Several candidates have released policy proposals on a range of issues, including housing, higher education, and judicial ethics.

Senator Michael Bennet of Colorado released a housing plan, while Mr. Biden introduced a higher education plan. Mr. Buttigieg released a plan focused on prescription drug costs, and the former housing secretary Julián Castro released a foster care plan.

Ms. Warren released a judicial ethics plan and an environmental justice plan, while Mr. Sanders proposed a plan to get corporate money out of politics. Tom Steyer announced a 'People Over Profits Economic Agenda' that would repeal the Citizens United ruling and establish a wealth tax.
