Published on October 12, 2019, a woman from Kiambu county made a sensational claim that she is eight months pregnant with world marathoner Eliud Kipchoge's child.

Identified as Karen Nyambu, she alleges that she had a one-night stand with the celebrated marathoner in Eldoret town, which resulted in her conceiving.

According to Karen, she met Kipchoge in Eldoret town where she did business at the time, and it was love at first sight. She claims that she didn't even have his mobile number or know his real name but remembered him immediately when she saw him on TV.

Karen has made a clear demand that she wants to be the first person to hug Eliud Kipchoge on his return to the country right at the airport, so that her unborn child can feel the father's strength on her body.

She has also appealed to Kenyans to have sympathy and help her reach Kipchoge so that their unborn child can have a feel of his father's hug.
