On October 11, 2019, a 12-year-old boy from Lindi ward in Kibra Constituency was arrested for breaking into residents' houses and peddling drugs.
Humphrey Lando, a child protection officer and undercover police officer attached to DC post from Kilimani police station, revealed that the minor was recently arrested and interrogated at the DC police post.
According to Lando, the boy would leave home in full school uniform, change his clothes, and then break into houses to steal and sell drugs.
During interrogation, the boy confessed to his involvement in the vices and is currently undergoing counseling and close police supervision to reform.
