Located just under an hour's drive from Nairobi's central business district, Kangundo Road is a rapidly growing area that offers investors a prime opportunity for commercial and residential development.
As more Kenyans move out of the congested and costly capital, outskirt areas like Kangundo Road are becoming increasingly popular. With its affordable land prices and close proximity to the city centre, it's no wonder why investors are flocking to this area.
According to Kennedy Murirmi, director of real estate company Denver Group, the area's unique selling points include its accessibility, affordability, and availability of public transport. 'You can acquire a big piece of land for an affordable price,' he says.
Denver Group, founded in 2015, specializes in providing affordable real estate and empowering property investors. Their flagship product is the sale of value-added plots with ready title deeds in Nairobi and its environs.
The company has several projects along Kangundo Road, including Brooklyn Ridge Gardens in Joska town and Grace Gardens Estate in Malaa town. These plots are priced between Sh. 800,000 and Sh. 850,000 for a 50100 plot, and come with favourable payment terms, including cash and installment options.
When asked about the real estate sector's stagnation or potential bubble, Murirmi dismissed the notion, saying that Kenya is still a developing country with large tracts of undeveloped land. 'The real estate bubble is just a myth,' he claims.
