On October 11, 2019, Sol Generation, Sauti Sol's record label, announced a partnership with the Dutch airline KLM to produce a 6-track album dubbed '1919 to Forever'. The album is part of KLM's 100th-anniversary celebrations and aims to showcase upcoming artists in the music industry.

The partnership brings together talented artists like BenSoul, Kaskazini, Nviiri, and Crystal Asige, who are all part of Sol Generation. The album features a blend of Afro-fusion music, addressing various topics such as love, escaping the rat race, communal celebrations, and real-life issues faced by common Kenyans.

According to Steven van Wijk, KLM's Commercial Director for Eastern Africa, the partnership is a celebration of business and culture, reaffirming the airline's commitment to the market and the next 100 years. He stated,
