Jose Mourinho's next move has been a topic of speculation since his departure from Manchester United in December 2018. According to Lyon president Jean Aulas, the Portuguese manager has already chosen his next club.
Although Mourinho was approached by Lyon for the vacant managerial position, he rejected the offer, citing that he had already decided on his next destination.
"We had some fairly flattering exchanges over SMS. It was nice for everyone," Aulas explained, as reported by the UK Sun.
"He did not accept our proposal to meet because he has already chosen another club," Aulas added.
With Mourinho's interest in returning to the Premier League, Tottenham has been linked as a potential destination. The club is currently struggling under Mauricio Pochettino, and a change in management could be on the horizon.
