Friday's National Super League (NSL) matches are set to kick off in different venues as the second tie enters its eighth round.
Among the matches scheduled for the day is the top-of-the-table clash between Nairobi City Stars and APS Bomet at Camp Toyoyo, with City Stars seeking to maintain their lead with 19 points from seven matches.
City Stars, currently funded by the Jonathan Jackson Foundation, boast a strong lineup featuring former Gor Mahia midfielder Erick Ochieng, former AFC Leopards defender Salim Abdalla, Cornelius Mwangi, and Kenya international defender Wesley Onguso.
Earlier in the day, fans will be treated to a morning encounter between cash-strapped Mt. Kenya United and Ushuru FC at 11am.
Administration Police, with two wins and four draws, will be away in Thika to face second-placed Bidco United at 1pm, while sixth-placed Vihiga United will host Kibera Black Stars at 2pm in Mumias.
Vihiga United coach Sammy Okoth expressed confidence in his team's ability to secure a win against Kibera Black Stars, saying, "We are meeting an experienced side, but my boys are good as well. We did have a good week in training and we have prepared well for the show as we look forward to a win at home."
Okoth also urged fans to turn up in large numbers to support the team.
Other matches scheduled for the day include Vihiga United v Kibera Black Stars, Bidco United v Administration Police, Northern Wanderers v Modern Coast Rangers, Murang'a Seal v Kenya Police, Mount Kenya United v Ushuru FC, FC Talanta v Nairobi Stima, Migori Youth v Fortune Sacco, Coast Stima v St Joseph's Youth, and Vihiga Bullets v Shabana.
