Crystal Palace has condemned racist abuse directed at Ivory Coast forward Wilfried Zaha, who has been subjected to such abuse in nearly every game, according to his earlier statement.

On Wednesday, the Premier League side said they had taken action after Zaha was again subjected to racist abuse on social media.

"We will not tolerate this behaviour being directed at any of our players and will fully support them in dealing with such incidents," the club said in a statement on their website.

Crystal Palace has vowed to pursue the matter criminally with the full force of the law, and will seek cooperation from other clubs where relevant.

However, the club did not provide further details on the action they had taken.
